About This Project

The current linear economic system of: extracting resources, generating products and discarding them, is creating a great amount of waste. This system it’s not only draining resources and contaminating our planet, but also, it is leaving aside social, environmental and economic opportunities. The Circular Economy is formulated as a “rethink” of the current economic system and pushes a system that is regenerative, from its intention and design. It aims to eliminate waste as a concept through a superior design of materials, products and business models, so that everything can return and be used in new processes. Indeed, working with used tires and making them part of a new process, removes the waste and generates economic and social opportunities, through the creation of retaining walls in brooks.
