About This Project

The system of water treatment ponds is part of the exhibition of the Intercative Water Museum (Yaku). The project is used to process the wastewater generated by the bathrooms, which are part of the museum. The ponds work by incorporating aquatic plants capable of processing the wastewater. The slope of the site is used, since the water passes as precipitation from one pond to another, in order to be treated and become useful water. The treated water is reused to irrigate the vegetation that is part of the museum. This water processing system was carried out between 2011-2012 and can be used for both sewage and gray water.
